Esther Meyer

Esther advises on sustainability projects

Esther earned her doctorate at the Faculty of Sustainability at Leuphana University in Lüneburg after studying philosophy, economics and sustainability sciences. She then completed training in organisational development and consulting at Como Consult, which is based on Gestalt and systems theory.

She gives university seminars on sustainability communication and works as a consultant for neighbourhoods and communities for a foundation that provides support throughout Germany.

She lives and works in Hamburg, where she co-founded a consulting agency for sustainability and social participation.

With Lighthouse Global, Esther supports social and ecological initiatives worldwide in working together on sustainable solutions. She brings her experience from working with various profit and non-profit organisations and volunteers to this work.

Precisely because the legal and institutional frameworks in which organisations and initiatives can implement their sustainable development goals vary around the world and are constantly changing, Esther is interested in the commonalities that transcend boundaries. She is convinced that the different cosmologies that care for the environment will together develop a decisive transformative force. Esther enjoys helping to build bridges of communication.
