Workshops

Lighthouse promotes social and ecological sustainability in two ways:

  • It supports small initiatives around the world that work for social and ecological sustainability in innovative and holistic ways. It does this through its Holding the Key and Open Door support programmes.
  • It develops projects and workshops related to sustainability, creating spaces for research and action, training, reflection and transformation. It integrates an intersectional vision, pursuing goals of social justice and a culture of peace.

Lighthouse workshops are short to medium-length formats and can be carried out in one or more sessions. They involve diverse groups of participants with different objectives, concerns and backgrounds, including educational centres, associations or groups of young people, adults or older people, among others.

They can be carried out online or in person, as both formats allow the objectives to be met. Online proposals allow for optimising time, creating a space for participation and even international connection from various points around the globe, shortening travel distances and promoting exchange and enrichment through cross-cultural work. These formats are more concentrated.

Lighthouse focuses on three main areas of work, each of which is made up of different workshops. Find out more about them!
